What to look for in mountain

An e-MTB isn't a moped with knobby tires. Mid-drive only (a hub motor can't survive trail abuse), 140mm+ travel for trail bikes, 160mm+ for enduro. Battery integration matters — exposed packs catch on rocks. Service network is non-negotiable: when something breaks, you want local support.
